Chili's Molten Lava Cake

My OB told me to watch for my diet. Only 2 kg weight gain are allowed per month. To do this, i should stay away from sweets and minimize carbs. 

But what will you do if your friend will treat you at Chili's. Me, i just cant resist the invitation. I just hope that we will not grow too big (me and baby) so i can still have a normal delivery. 

Anyways, In short.. I gave in to the invitation and guess what i requested for dessert? -->Molten Lava cake.. :-)

How will i describe this cake? Its a moist chocolate cake with a hot chocolate fudge filling. And topped with a vanilla ice cream coated with crunchy chocolate.

Im not an expert in describing taste but i love the taste of  how the hot chocolate fudge and vanilla ice cream mixed. This dessert is always in my request list everytime we go at chili's.

Thanks to malou for the treat!! I just hope that i will not exceed the 2kg weight gain allowance this month. Last month, i gained 3.5kg. :-( 

Ms Polly's caramel cake

Last September I've posted Ms Polly's chocolate cake. Like what i stated, we also want to try their other variety of cakes.

So this time we bought the caramel cake. . This box of cake cost 620 php which is more expensive compared to their chocolate cake.

This is just as moist as their chocolate cake. The same melts in the mouth experience! 

Whatever your choice will be. Both  chocolate and caramel cake will give you a comforting feeling.

One of the best chocolate cake I've tasted so far. :-)

Ms Polly's chocolate cake

Our manager bought this cake during our meeting. I was surprised on how moist it is. I immediately asked for the box so i can view where to buy it. Our boss told us that he bought it along shell station in magallanes.

I want my hubby to taste it as well, so when we went to makati we pass by shell station in magallanes to buy it. 

At shell station magallanes, they offer different variety of cakes from different bakers/vendors. Some bakers club (i think). But i want to try ms polly's chocolate cake

This chocolate cake melts in the mouth!

Some compare it to mernels cake in calamba but i think ms polly's chocolate cake taste better. Which should be since price is a bit different :-)

If you ask me if we're going to buy again? 

Of course.. But well also try their other cakes (caramel cake,blueberry cheesecake)
